The day has finally arrived where I end up in this firey hell for 7-10 days each month. Thank you to Aunt Flo whom I now call Aunt Fuck Face because
she always comes at the worst possible times. Like, hey life is going pretty calm and great and here you come barging through my uterian wall and kick boxes my
overies untill they fall in chunks down my vaginal opening. Graphic YES but very real and very concerning for many adolescent girls and even women my age
and older. Having a fucking period sucks in more ways than just bleeding profusely out your pussy onto a little disposable cotton pillow. Don't mess with
our moods, dont question our logic, dont be a dick and dont call us crazy because if it were up to me, then men should have to bleed once a month out of their
urethra.
I don't get PMS. No, my body decided that i could handle more depression each month and rewarded me with PPMS, or another technical term PMDD, Premenstral
Dysphoric Disorder. Our periods literally make us think and do more stupid things than just snapping out of irritability that someone stole your chair. No
our brains tell us SOMEONE STOLE OUR CHAIR, WE MUST KILL THEM OR KILL OURSELVES. Oh theres that damn thought again. I am gonna normalize wanting to kill
yourself because as long as you dont act on it, you have to be aware you are even thinking it. Who am I to preach on this psych shit though. I wont have
my degree for another 2 years...
I meet with the academic advisor for the UIS psychology department today. Pretty excited to be getting back involved in school. My brain feels like it has been
a bananna that has sat on the counter for too long. I need to stimulate it in ways that help me grow in knowledge and understanding. Getting this degree would
be life changing, not just for me but for many psych patients who dont have access to mental health care.
